Just when I felt these films were getting good. :(

That's too bad, I have thought that each movie has gotten progressively better. I'd need to see 6 again to confirm that, but I enjoyed it in the theater (saw it in London which was kind of cool).

Don't really care for it and I wouldn't be unpleased if there were no more FnF films. Although I agree that the newer ones were less unbearable than the rice-happy originals.

I think they got worse after the 4th... the sixth is definitely my least favourite of the series. It was worth watching for the bbq scene at the end though...

As I mentioned earlier, its going to be really hard to be the writer who has to ultimately kill him off.

Worse, his sudden absence in the movie will only pull the movie goer out of the fantasy world of F&F and remind why he really isn't in the movie. I don't know how much or what they had filmed, but the best "out" has to be an off-screen sacrifice, most likely to save Dom. Having him suddenly disappear and have the villain kill him unceremoniously off screen to provoke revenge feelings would feel hollow. Especially after what happened in Japan at the end of FF6.

I'm pretty sure they just need more time to work on the Paul Walker CGI model.
FnF movies forever!!!......... I hope.
